Valet at Dutch Kings Day

Join us to park bikes at Dutch King's Day in Golden Gate Park to celebrate Dutch culture and traditions. There will be traditional Dutch games, a flea market, Dutch food, beer, music & more! King’s Day is the biggest national event in the Netherlands. Everything and everyone turns orange and celebrates. So grab all the orange you have in your closet (dust off that Halloween and Giants gear!)

Bicycle Ambassador at Sunday Streets (Tenderloin)

Talk to folks about our work, offering free air for their tires & a chance to join or renew their membership to the SF Bicycle Coalition. Freedom from Training Wheels | Sunday Streets (Tenderloin)

Help get little feet pedaling at Freedom From Training Wheels. We'll teach you all you need to know to get a new generation of bike riders scooting, balancing and gliding. Previous experience not required but a positive attitude and patience are a must. You'll be trained on site by our experienced staff.

Family Bike Gear Demo at Sunday Streets (Tenderloin)

Family biking is fun! Join us at Sunday Streets in the Mission as we show off the SF Bike Coalition's family and cargo bikes and give curious parents a chance to try it for themselves. (You're welcome to bring your own gear to show off, too!) Our Family & Schools Program Manager, Nancy, will also be on hand to show you all you need to know, and answer additional questions from parents.

If you can sign up for more than one shift, even better. (Please let us know if you can bring your own laptop with you, as our supplies are limited.) Bicycle Ambassador at Ride of Silence

Support participants of the Ride of Silence by providing information about the SF Bicycle Coalition and offering an easy way for people to join or renew their membership. San Francisco’s annual Ride of Silence is a group ride to honor those that have been injured or killed while biking. This ride takes place in over 50 countries on the third Wednesday each May, with thousands of riders coming out in support and solidarity. Please note you must be a trained Bicycle Ambassador to volunteer at this event.

Community Bike Build Prep Night

Want to donate your mechanic skills to help make sure all San Franciscans have affordable transportation? We're looking for experienced mechanics to come on out and get greasy at our Community Bike Build Prep Night. We'll be fixing up bikes to get them ready to give away at future Community Bike Builds. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Contact miles@sfbike.org with questions.
